A fluid dampener decelerates the push pad on its return stroke and eliminates most noise associated with exit device operations. The latchbolt design provides the industry's most secure exit device. UL Listed for accident hazard installations. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. For all types of single or double doors with mullion. Device ships Exit Only but exterior trim is available separately. Field sizeable from 2'4" to 3' for 36" wide doors. Hex key dogging with included dogging key. Includes fasteners for 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick doors, metal and wood. Deadlocking latch bolt extends 3/4". Device should be mounted 39-13/16" from finished floor to center. Latch case is 8" x 2-3/4" x 2-3/8". Mechanism case is 2-1/4" x 2-1/4". Push bar projects 3-13/16" in neutral; 3-1/16" depressed. Grooved case with smooth push pad.
