Von Duprin 6112 Series Rim Exit Electric Strike

Electric strike for Rim Exit Devices on single door applications. Designed to replace Folger Adam 310-4 with minor frame prep. Works on hollow metal, aluminum or wood jambs.

Developed with Von Duprin's high standards & engineering expertise, this electric strike is manufactured with heavy-duty stainless steel, has been tested to over 250,000 cycles, has a 1500 pound holding force and a 70 pound impact strength. Electric strikes allow remote release of a locked door and allow the door to be opened without retracting the latchbolt. This occurs by releasing the strike's keeper, or lip. When the door is pushed or pulled, the latch moves the keeper then a spring pulls it back. When the door closes, the latchbolt, having a spring itself, retracts when it touches the keeper to allow the door to fully shut, then extends into the strike, relocking the door.

The Von Duprin 6000 series strikes have a number of features:

The 6112 is 9"H x 1-5/8"W with a 3/4" thick face plate. The solenoid housing extends 1-5/8" into the jamb and requires 4-1/2" vertical clearance inside the jamb cavity. Compatible with the following rim exit devices: Von Duprin 22, 33A, 35A, 88, 98, 99; Precision 810, 1100 (panic only); Sargent 2800, 6500, 6800, 8500, 8800, 9500, 9800 (panic only), 9898; & Yale 1500, 7000, 7200.

The face of this strike is available in Satin Bronze, Dark Bronze, Polished Brass, Bright Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel & Satin Brass finishes.
