Securitron Integrated Motion Exit Delay 1200LB Maglock System

1200LB holding force Magnalock Integrated Movement Exit Delay (iMXD) installation requires no alteration or replacement of existing fire-rated or non-fire-rated latching hardware. False triggering is eliminated by the ample door movement.

A person desiring to exit attempts to use the door. The iMXD permits the exit door to move a short distance only, remaining locked, and this door movement is internally detected. Movement detection leads to the activation of an irreversible delay of 15 or 30 seconds. During this release delay, a Sonalert in the housing sounds and a remote alarm signal also activates. At the end of the delay the lock releases. The lock remains unlocked until manually relocked.

Applications include dementia wards, hospitals, dormitories, airports, child care facilities and retail stores

Allows door travel up to one inch while remaining locked.
