The basic HIT 38 will prepare the required mortise cavity using a series of drilled plunge cuts followed by several up and down cleanup passes with the drill bit
Fully adjustable for mortise height, with three bit sizes available to accommodate common mortise widths
Designed to self-center on 1-3/8" & 1-3/4" thick doors
Shipped in a plastic carrying case with a 1" spade bit standard
Requires your drill with a 1/4" or larger chuck
Bits for 7/8" and 3/4" are also available special order
