Designed specifically for heavy use, high abuse applications the 4040XP door closer has a 44% increased load bearing capacity, stronger pinion & wider bearing over other models. Cast iron cylinder hold all weather fluid. Forged steel arm and double heat treated steel pinion. UL and cUL Listed for self closing doors without hold-open. ADA compliant. Non-sized, non-handed closer mounts on interior doors from 24" to 60" or exterior doors 24" to 48" wide, left or right handed. Extra Duty Arm, included, mounts Parallel only. Includes XP cylinder, EDA arm, plastic cover, screw pack and installation instructions. Can be used with all LCN 4041 series accessories.
