Product Details
Cast iron body filled with all weather fluid. Forged steel arm and double heat treated steel pinion. Fast and accurate installation with included instructions and template. UL and cUL Listed. ADA compliant. Tested and certified under ANSI Standard A156.4, Grade 1. Tested for up to 10,000,000 cycles. Non-sized cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5 foot wide and exterior doors to 4 foot wide. Closer mounts hinge side or top jamb on left and right handed doors. Hinge side or top jamb mounting allows for up to 120° opening. Includes Delayed Action cylinder Delayed Action: When the door is opened to the maximum point allowed by the closer, the closer very slowly closes the door until the door gets to 70°, then the sweep valve kicks in and closes the door in a standard manner. Delayed action allows for persons with limited movement to get through the opening without the door closing on them. The delay can be set for up to 1 minute. Excellent choice for hospitals, nursing homes, day care facilities or wherever the majority of people need more time to get through the door than with standard closers. Includes delayed action cylinder body, regular arm, standard plastic cover, self reaming screws and installation instructions.
