Product Details
The 4031 is a universal door closer designed for use on doors that have moderate traffic conditions and can be Parallel mounted. Cast iron body with forged steel main arm & all weather fluid. UL & cUL Listed. Because the 4031 is adjustable it can operate interior doors 26" to 48" wide or exterior doors 26" to 36" wide, given standard conditions. Includes closer body, Spring Cush-N-Stop arm, metal cover, self- tapping screw pack and installation instructions. Spring Cush-N-Stop: When the door is opened to almost its maximum point, a spring located on the soffit shoe pushes against the arm preventing the door from slamming open or from being opened past its maximum installed point to prevent damage to the closer and stopping the door before it can hit any wall or other obstruction that may be behind it. The closer can be mounted for use on up to 100° openings. The top rail of your door needs to be 5-1/2" or more, or a drop plate (not included) is required on parallel arm mounting.
