The KABA E-Plex 5000 Electronic Lock combines the best characteristics of a heavy-duty mechanical lock and a modern easy to use and install electronic combination-based keypad lock. KABA has been perfecting the art of standalone access control for over 40 years and the new E-Plex 5000 reflects the strength, simplicity and reliability of their industry-leading Simplex locks with the enhanced security and convenience of electronic access control.

The E-Plex 5000 offers a true 12-button keypad, manual key override and an essentially "no-wiring" installation. The KABA E-Plex 5000 is designed to install, program and operate very easily.

The E-Plex 5000 is ideal for securing indoor or outdoor sensitive access points. Because it does not use "credentials" (card, keyfob), the E-Plex 5000 is an especially cost-effective security solution for locations with high user turnover.
