Installations requiring proximity card access or for remote locations when used in an online (Hub) system. The reader antenna has a read range of 3" (inches)

3 Modes of installation: Stand-alone, Wiegand or Hub

Stand-alone mode can support up to 2000 users using HID cards up to 37 bit. Wiegand & Hub modes support up to what the controller can handle with limits of 27 bit cards on Hub Series.

Installation of the unit can be standard or secure. In standard, the keypad is mounted with the weather-resistant programming keypad. In secure, the keypad is mounted inside (no more than 10 feet away), away from the proximity reader. The reader can be mounted in on glass using the included self-adhesive pads or on the door frame using the mounting screws and the keypad can be used as a REX (request-to-exit) option.

In stand-alone mode, the keypad is used for programming and for high-security access (requiring both keypad code and card or keyfob) if desired. The facility code for the stocked Prox-Pad is 11 (this is only relevant for existing systems)

Log printing via an optional IR printer. Audio and visual feedback from the keypad helps with programming and use.

Alarm Shunt Relay, 2 relay outputs, an internal clock, programming keypad & memory chips to store user information and transaction log.

Operates on 12VDC with a 30-100mA current draw.
