HES 5010 Series Hybrid Electric Strike Body 12VDC with External Prox Reader

The first every electric strike with prox technology built in. Combining the access control of an HID proximity reader with the physical security of a Grade 1 electric strike, the HES RF5010 series encompasses everything in the frame for faster installation and superior aesthetics. Designed to work with any Wiegand compatible controller, the RF5010-EA features an external antenna, for flexible location in either inswing or outswing applications, and accommodates 5/8" latchbolts from cylindrical locksets.

Includes an external antenna to mount where you need it and optional faceplates to fit almost any need. The RF5010-EA fill fit in steel, wood or aluminum frames with the proper faceplate, is ANSI/BHMA 156.31, Grade 1 Listed and conforms with FCC Part 15. The reader module operates at 12VDC and draws 123mA Max. The strike also operates at 12VDC and draws 240mA Max. Maximum distance from reader to controller is 500 feet using 18-22AWG stranded and shielded wire (not included).
