Detention strength full mortise hinge with integral cast studs for hollow metal doors and frames. Studs anchor the hinge to the door and frame and provide support if the screws are sheared. Specified for use in the detention environment on administration area doors. May be used on cell doors if the door swings out. Non-removable fully concealed hinge pins prevents tampering or removal. Torx tamper-resistant screws, supplied, further prevent tampering with the hinges. Tapered barrel ends for inmate safety. Permanent lubrication eliminates maintenance. Reversible, non-handed. 3 hinges support up to a 300lb door.

4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x .188" thick. Solid steel construction. ANSI/NAAMM Standard HMMA 863-96 requiring the hinge to withstand 200 blows of 200 ft-lbs each. Complies with NFPA 80 requirements. Prime Coat ready for paint.
