Folger Adam Institutional Electrified Hinge

Designed to transmit electric current from field wiring in a door frame to an electric lock installed in the door. These hinges are non-load bearing so the use of load-bearing hinges is required. Designed for use in detention environments on administration or cell doors. Meets UL 634 requirements, uses UL recognized wire. Screw hole locations conform to ANSI A156.7 standards.

Supplied with eight 1/4-20 x 1/2" flat head Torx screws for tamper resistance. Non-handed. 12' wire leads on door leaf, 1' wire leads on jamb leaf with 18 gauge wire. Five color coded wires. Stainless steel tubular pin 9/16" diameter allows wiring to pass from jamb to door. 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x .188" thick. Available in Satin Brass or Prime Coat Finishes.
