Adams Rite Exit Device Electrified Entry Trim

A continuous duty solenoid mounted to the trim enables remote activation of the locking function without unlatching the door. This allows someone without a key to use an electric keypad or card reader to operate the trim to enter but allows the device to relock when closed. In addition, the trim can be set to an unlock mode with a key so that anyone can enter by a turn of the lever. This leaves the latch on the exit device extended to prevent the door from opening from the wind but allows free egress and entry. A break-away clutching mechanism protects the locked handle from vandalism or forced entry in either direction. This also makes the trim rehandable in the field. The solid construction meets Grade 1 standards. Key access is allowed via a standard mortise cylinder with an Adams Rite MS cam (cylinder not included). Classroom Function

Trims are available in a variety of models to suit your needs. The handles available are: Curved, Round (Tubular) and Square. Each trim is available with or without a cylinder hole for outside access. If a cylinder is not used, the trim is always locked from the outside. While many exit device trims are available, we only stock a universal model so your exit device model is not important. We have the following finishes in stock on a regular basis: Dark Bronze, Satin Chrome. The finish of the lever matches the trim body.

The measurements of each handle, from the centerline of the lock body are: Curved = 5"; Round = 4.55"; and Square = 4.35". From the door face to the longest protrusion of the handle are: Curved = 3.25"; Round = 3.45"; and Square = 2.91". The lock body is 8.10" tall and 1.9" wide.
