Adams Rite Electrified Deadlatch for Aluminum Doors

Based on the reliable MS Deadlatch, this electrified deadlatch will suit the needs for most access control situations by eliminating the need for an electric strike or magnetic lock. The 4200 has a built-in solenoid that retracts the latch when electrically activated via your keypad, prox reader or other access control device. This will eliminate the need for everyone at your business to have a key, reduce your overall security cost while increasing your security. The 4200 is always operable by a mechanical key outside (with optional mortise cylinder) or by a paddle or lever (sold separately) on the inside.

The case is manufactured of steel with a corrosion-resistant plating. Available in either 31/32" or 1-1/8" backsets and fits existing MS deadbolt and deadlatch mortises that are 1" W x 6-7/8" H. If a deadbolt is currently used, the 4200 includes a strike plate that is long enough to allow proper alignment on the jamb. Since the lock doesn't require the use of an electric strike, there is less labor involved in the installation. You will need an armored door loop, electrified hinge or power transfer module (sold separately) to get power from the jamb to the door, then run your wires to the lock cavity.

Latchbolt is 5/8" x 1" x 5/8" throw. The 4200 includes a flat and radius faceplate so it can be fitted to single or double doors. The flat faceplate can be fitted to beveled doors with adjustment screws on the lock body.

The faceplate is available in Clear Anodized Aluminum, Dark Bronze or Black Finishes
The 4200 is available in either 12VDC or 24VDC models.
